This statement - this is so true and is all that many people are asking - democratic fairness - if we are careful this will become a thing of the past - East German regime comes to mind! brain wash the people into what they want them to believe and then stamp on the stragglers! in other words keep your mouth shut and accept what you are told. I hope that all of our soldiers/relations did not die in vane in the two World Wars! The local planning dept is hell bent on persuading Councillors that they should pass these applications. The councillors need to look more closely at what this really means for the local communities.
Shadow Environment Secretary Nick Herbert told the Yorkshire Post: "I support the production of rural energy and it's important we diversify our energy supply but there should not be a national policy dictating that we bring in wind turbines.
"We must respect local people and local planning decisions.
