Wouldn't release me from contract.

We gave exactly 45 days notice by letter of our intent to move electricity from Scottish Power. This did not happen, they objected twice. Then my new provider backed out of application because Scottish Power didn't lift the objection soon enough.

Apparently computer error caused this and they did receive my letter. They said this has happened to a lot of their customers, so why did they not check it after the first objection letter or certainly before sending out a second.

I am appalled at their actions, they make it difficult to leave them, but even when you play by their rules they don't play ball.

Start playing ball in the Lenches or else!

Bullying people with their electricity supply and placing huge wind turbines near peoples homes which is damn right irresponsible and playing with peoples lives! enough is enough. Wake up to what you are doing all in the name of money not being GREEN!

Hopefully final chapter in this charade of trying to change supplier.

Scottish and Southern who I went to because they do not do on shore wind farms near residents, have now withdrawn the offer because of Scottish Power not releasing us from the contract quickly enough. Definitely a good ploy for Scottish Power to try and keep existing drifting customers!

Anyway, I have now gone with British Gas, because they are the biggest off shore wind farm company and thats the way it should be going when it comes to wind, not within 2km of people and communities.

So avoid Eon, and Scottish Power but British Gas if you want to encourage off shore wind farms.
