Over the weekend a balloon was raised to the height of the proposed industrial wind turbines. Anyone who was in any doubt as to the impact of these turbines on the local landscape is now unlikely to be. They are MASSIVE!!!!

I've visited other wind farms but nothing compares to what is planned here.

I strongly reccommend that other areas in a similar situation get hold of one oth these balloons and show exactly what is being proposed.

P.S. I was reminded of the film 'War of the Worlds', replacing the alien tripods with wind turbines.

Blimp will be up all day today, within close proximity to one of the turbine locations in the morning and then another location in the afternoon, again by one of the other turbine locations.
