There was confirmation at the drop in session at Norton and Lenchwick that the nearest property will be within 508 metres of the nearest turbine. This is unacceptable and I am sure SPR know it!

The police were called to the session by a lady who said "the noise was making her feel ill". The noise was a taped recording of a wind turbine. I rest my case.

There is a blimp flying at exactly 125metres - this is showing the tip height of the blade. However, it does not give the full intensity as the blades of course would be turning and exagerate what would be seen.

The SPR representative lives 1.25 km from a wind turbine and does not have a problem! He said if he wanted to buy a nice house that was situated by a wind turbine that would not stop him. BUT, if he had a choice of one by a turbine or away from a turbine - what do you think his choice would be!

There was a chap there who is clearly disappointed that he is not getting a wind turbine in his back garden. Why would anyone choose to have something that big and that industrial, that close? I am mistified.

This is a beautiful part of the world that we should all protect, there is an abundance of wildlife that his going to be turned out by the evasive installation of these things. There is nothing green about this at all.

All we ask is that renewable energy of this type be sited appropriately.
