planning application
Posted 21 Jan 2010
I have been looking at the documents connected with the proposal for East Heckington wind turbines. I am concerned about the wording on the initial Application form to NKDC. In the first paragraph, it states that, "The Secretary of State will at the same time(as the application is made to him) be requested to direct that planning permission for this development shall be deemed to be granted. The consent and the direction(s)may be subject to conditions."
My understanding of Deemed planning permission is, that it is approved, without any objections/representations being considered. Perhaps, somebody can, hopefully, show that i am totally wrong on this.
For those of us who have not had a notification about this proposed development,it can be viewed online at
www.n-kesteven.gov.uk/planningonline. Case no. 09/1067/S36 -
planning application for East Heckington
Posted 18 Dec 2009
In the public notice section of the Sleaford Standard 16/12/09. Application has NOW been made to the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change(their given title, who are they kidding?). for the construction of a wind energy electricity generating station of up to 65mws.(30 turbines?) on land at six hundred East Heckington. The application is made by Next Generation Limited of Stroud Gloucestershire.
The plans can be viewed at NKDC Sleaford or at Lincoln Council Offices. The notice goes on to explain who to make representations to with the various addresses, phone numbers etc. Action Stations!! -

climate change
Posted 28 Nov 2009
The great and the good are all heading to Copengagen shortly,to discuss the urgent?? need, to impose more and more financial burden upon us,in the name of Global Warming. While i agree that the climate is changing,i believe this is cyclic and not much can be done about that. Undoubtedly, mankinds activity has had some effect, but not to the degree we are led (told)to believe. In my view, deforestation has the biggest effect, why not stop that?
Gordon Brown said recently, that we have 50 days left to reverse? this Global Warming, or we are all doomed! By my calculations, there will be 24hours left, at the opening day of the Copenhagen Summit!
Interesting reading on the above and other subjects can be found at www.thetruthseeker.co.uk Call me a conspiracy theorist if you want, but if only 10% of what is on that site is correct, ie.leaked emails etc. all i can say is, keep your powder dry and dont drink the water!!
